1. Obtained Ph.D. degree from University of Calcutta in the year 1995
2. Passed M.Sc in Physics from University of Calcutta in 1979.
3. Passed B.Sc with Honours in Physics from University of Calcutta in 1977.
4. Passed Higher Secondary Examination from West Bengal Council of High Secondary Education in 1974 .

Teaching Experience:

1. From 2^nd January1984 to 30.06.1998 in Berhampore Girls’ College in the capacity of junior Lecturer then Senior Lecturer and then as Reader.
2. From 1^st July 1998 till this date in New Alipore College in the capacity of Reader and Associate Professor in Physics.

         Total teaching experience 35 years.
