About laboratories

Adequate laboratory facilities are provided to all science departments. The laboratories are spacious, well planned to meet the syllabi of offered courses under the supervision of respective teachers. The laboratories are well equipped with latest equipments so as to learn the proper knowledge and aspects of the subjects. The college has all laboratory equipments as approved by the Calcutta University. Students are required to make a adequate a proper use of these facilities. Certain rules for use of laboratories are to be followed.

• To respect all materials of the laboratories and take special care of apparatus/equipments.
• To remain silent and focused while working in laboratories.
• All necessary precautions should be taken by sing burner, electric points and gas

Laboratories are meant to be learning spaces. No students can use the laboratories or computer centre in the absence of teacher in-charge. 

Computer Science:

Department of Computer Science facilitates well equipped Hardware and Software Laboratories to the students with advance equipments and Computers. The Hardware Laboratory is enriched with all kinds of instruments focusing the upcoming CBCS system. The software laboratory contains 40 computers with advanced specification to facilitate according to curriculum as well as advanced research projects. The systems are connected with LAN and wifi to offer state of the art infrastructure. Both laboratories contain platforms for students with modern design and ICT enabled teaching learning platform. These laboratories are also protected by the CCTV surveillance centrally monitored by college authority.
